Print Screen Deluxe is a superior screen-capture utility, with editing tools to boot. It provides a fast and easy way to capture, print, and save your screen. With support for over two dozen formats, this 32-bit utility lets you capture the full screen, the active window, a window's client area, an ellipse, rectangle, a freehand area, and more. You can even capture an image as it goes through the Windows Clipboard and perform time-delay captures. Options let you automatically print the image as you capture it, save it, invert it, convert it to grayscale, and stretch it to fit the current window. You can also print the date, time, and filename on your capture. Print Screen Deluxe features several useful editing tools, such as cropping, sharpening, gamma correction, brightness adjustment, and image rotation and flipping (but unfortunately no way to reduce colors when saving). A friendly interface with movable toolbars makes the program a cinch to operate, which is fortunate because the help file isn't readily accessible. Reviewed on Oct 15 1998.
